The Saguaro High School Math and Science Academy (MSA), established in 2006, offers high school students a chance to focus their time and attention to STEM areas. It started with just 9 students in 2006 and has grown to over 300 students in current school year. The various recognition options within the program are valuable additions to college applications and can help set students up for greater success after graduation.
MISSION
The SMSA Booster Club supports the Scottsdale MSA at Saguaro High School, aiming to enhance STEM opportunities for students in the Scottsdale Unified School District. While the program primarily supports MSA students, it also offers academic and enrichment opportunities to all Saguaro students, fostering an inclusive 'open village' concept. This inclusivity is the program's greatest strength, encouraging connectivity and responsibility among all students. Additionally, all SUSD students are invited to participate in MSA community enrichment events.
